Join us for a captivating program with timber framer Will Gusakov of Goosewing Timberworks (Lincoln, VT), as he shares his extraordinary experience helping to rebuild one of the world’s most iconic historical landmarks—Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
Following the devastating fire of April 15, 2019, Will worked with the international team Carpenters Without Borders, dedicating six months to the meticulous, historic reconstruction effort. Drawing on 20 years of timber framing expertise, including teaching and lecturing at Middlebury College, Will brings a unique personal and professional perspective to this global story of resilience, craftsmanship, and heritage.

Don’t miss this rare behind-the-scenes look at the artistry and effort behind the restoration of a cathedral that took over a century to build—now rising from the ashes once again through the hands of skilled artisans like Will.
