New board members elected, budget approved at annual meeting

Four new directors were elected to the Waterbury Historical Society Board at the annual meeting of the membership on October 18:

Ryan Geary - Vice President

Bryan Farnsworth - Secretary

Laura Parette - Director

Skip Flanders - Director

Longtime board members Grace Sweet, Jill Chase, and Bill Woodruff will be stepping down when their terms end in December. Director Anne Imhoff retired from the board earlier this year. The new directors will begin their terms on January 1.

Members also approved the society's operating budget for 2026. President Cheryl Casey provided a recap of the society's work in 2025 to date and marked progress toward WHS goals.
