Waldo returns for more adventures in the History Center

Find Waldo Local has returned to Waterbury and the History Center by popular demand to encourage reading, shopping, and learning local. An initiative organized by children's books publisher Candlewick Press, Find Waldo is organized locally by our friends at Bridgeside Books.

The quest is simple, the payoff huge.
Pick up a Waldo Passport from Bridgeside Books and visit as many participating locations as you can by the end of July to earn stamps. Complete your passport and be entered to win a stack of Where's Waldo books! Along the way, explore the amazing local businesses and organizations in town.

Even as Waldo is becoming part of Waterbury's history with his annual July visits, he is also encouraging kids and families to learn more about local history by hiding in a different exhibit each week. History itself is also a puzzle full of intricate details that need to be examined closely to understand how they fit into the story!
This year, 26 locations are participating.
