Our Mission

Waterbury Historical Society collects, researches, documents, preserves, and exhibits artifacts related to the history of Waterbury, Vermont to help others gain deeper appreciation, education and inspiration through connections with our past.

Membership

Membership is open to any individual interested in Waterbury community life and the story of our town. Members receive our quarterly newsletter and advance notice of programs and special events, in addition to our deep gratitude for your support in helping us ensure our collections care, programs, and exhibits are high quality, relevant, and accessible to the public. 

$10/year individual
$15/year household (2 persons 18 and over)

Board of Directors Meetings

The WHS Board of Directors, staff, and committee chairs meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Steele Community Room at the Municipal Complex, unless otherwise noted. These meetings are open to the public and community members are welcome to join the conversation, ask questions, and learn how to become involved.
